I cannot stress this enough but August is and incredibly busy month for books! This week there is a release from one of my faves, a book that is incredibly anticipated, and a new book from an author I just found but I’m sure I’ll love! A great way to end the month of August if you ask me! Continue reading
Browsing the wine selection at my grocery store, I started looking at the Fiesta wines and I couldn’t make up my mind on which one I wanted to try first! Their winery is 40 miles from where I live or so, which isn’t that far and I’m thinking I need to take a nice little trip out there one day! With that being said, this one wasn’t my favorite.
This wine is called well water wine and it tasted like well water wine. Haha, go figure! Literally tasted like water from a well followed by an aftertaste. I was feeling adventurous when I picked this one and I wasn’t all that surprised at what I got! I want to go to the winery to try out all the other ones, hopefully, because I’m always down to save a buck in the long run! I’ll still probably pick up another one before I head out there though, because I have no self control. This one was surely interesting, just not something I’d get again.
The Bella Bollé Bella Rosso was phenomenal and the site of this one made my mouth water! Have you ever tried the Seagram’s Escapes in Strawberry Daiquiri?? That is one of my favorites of all time! For some reason, I mean for many reasons, I hyped this up for myself and while I was expecting a nice, sweet moscato, I was left with a wine that was sweet for second and then followed by a not-so-pleasant aftertaste which was then followed by another not-so-pleasant aftertaste.
I filled up a glass and forced myself to drink it, hoping it would grow on me and my second glass was worse. As more time went on and the more I tried it, the more unpleasant it became and I don’t understand why! Looking at the bottle again now, it looks like it would be so yummy, but be aware, that it was something…else.
I gave it two stars because it wasn’t absolutely disgusting, but it also wasn’t good. I don’t know what happen, but I do know I will not be purchasing again.
I’m not the biggest cover reveal girl as of now, unless it’s something like this.
Oh my god. I’m like sweating. I can’t.
Womanizer (Manwhore #4) – Release Date: December 5th – Genre: Contemporary Romance
You’ve seen the headlines: Womanizing billionaire player! Watch out! Stay away!
We were just two strangers. Facing a forbidden attraction, a chemical connection. Neither of us expected or wanted it to amount to more. But I had never been drawn to a guy the way I was drawn to this one: my brother’s best friend, and CEO of the company where I interned.
Even knowing I should stay away, I proved to be too human, after all. The chemistry was amazing. The laughs were incredible. I opened up to him in more ways than I’d opened up to anyone before. But sex was as far as I’d go. Just sex because he was too irresistible. Just sex because I wouldn’t be falling for him. Just sex because I’d leave in three months, and I’d like for my brother not to kill me, and for nobody to find out he was my wicked little secret. He wasn’t the One. He was just a womanizer. But for a time, he would be mine.
I’ve read both Manwhore and Manwhore +1 by Katy Evans and those two are on my favorites list and I’m still swooning about them! Ladies Man is still sitting on my shelf, waiting for me to read it, but I haven’t read it yet because I don’t want to! I want to save it until I’m ready because I have a pretty strong idea that it will make my heart explode. But of course, I’ll be sure to let you know 😉
I think it was so appropriate that I read this one given the fact that I finished it only days before the first week of school starting back up! I just didn’t know I’d like this one so much!
This book in one sentence: This book reminded me that the love I have for student/teacher romances hasn’t gone anywhere!
There are constantly new books being released and I swear that every Tuesday, or rather every publication day, my ‘to-read’ list changes! I have a decently set lineup right now, but I also have a good feeling that it’ll change before I know it! There are some pretty nifty releases this week!
I remember back in June sometime, I said that August was going to be a busy book month and is has been so far! I’ve been waiting since June for Sugar Rush and another book has recently popped up on my radar that I have to get to as well!
I’ve come to the conclusion that all Cupcake wines must be dry. I’m being dramatic because I’m not sure if all of their wines are dry, but all of the ones that I’ve tried have been dry! I’m not entirely a fan of dry wines but while this one wasn’t my cup of tea, it wasn’t bad. It was actually very smooth and I actually didn’t mind it at all! I don’t know what I was expecting but I think this one was more of a medium dry than a super dry.
On the back of it, they suggest that this would go good with a steak or a burger, and I actually feel that it would! I drank it randomly without anything just to taste it but I’ll have to try it with dinner for sure! I have this feeling that this one is going to grow on me! 3 stars because I didn’t dislike it!
