I really really liked the first book. But I REALLY liked this one too! There was not one thing that I didn’t like about this book. I read it slow becuase I didn’t want it to end!
This book in one sentence: Literally an instance of when you think the second book couldn’t be better than the first but then you’re wrong.
I read the first book a while ago and I loved just about every minute of it. I didn’t know what this one had in store but I had a strong feeling I would enjoy it and I did.
The first book ending on a cliff hanger and it had everyone wondering what was going to happen next between Rachel and Malcolm. Rachel never intended on falling in love with Malcolm and he was just supposed to be a story, but he turned out to be so much more to her. It also turns out that Rachel turned out to be much more to Malcolm as well.
This one picked up exactly where the first one left off. This one wasn’t filled with as much angst as the first one was. Don’t get me wrong, there was some, especially during the beginning, but as time went on, this book was so swoon worthy it hurt! Both Rachel and Malcolm has it bad for each other and even though they tried to fight it for a while, they couldn’t help themselves.
The thing I liked most about this book is how their relationship developed and worked. At times there were bumpy spots, but they always managed to work it out and that made me smile. I will be for sure reading Mrs. Manwhore, but I can’t wait to dive into Ladies Man either! Katy Evans in becoming a fave of mine!
