YA – ★★★ – Goodreads – Amazon – B&N – iBooks
This little series by CoHo and Tarryn Fisher was definitely a page turner. The writing, of course was great, and the characters were interesting.
These books in one sentence: While I know what happened, I don’t know what happened and I kinda like it.
This book was not what I was expecting and as it progressed, I couldn’t even guess what was going to happen next. With vague descriptions, we get to follow Charlie and Silas, who have been best friends since they were young, but can no longer remember each other. The story is fairly confusing but intriguing enough to keep you interested, and I wasn’t incredibly hooked until the last few pages of part one. Even when I did start to figure out what was going on, I was still lost in the woods like ->
Throughout the books, the story became more clear and while the characters were complex and they had their strengths and flaws, I was rooting for them. It was definitely a ride to follow these characters try to piece back together their lives and figure out what happened to them. This wasn’t my favorite series of all time, but it was definitely a good one and worth the read!
