Part of me is sad that October is almost over while apart of me is slightly relieved. There were so many books I’ve had to read this month and it still isn’t over! So many new books have been released and there are many of us who are saying that authors need to slow down because we can’t keep up 😉! With that said, there are some that are live today that I’m excited for!
(Currently Reading) Pull Me Close by Sidney Halston – Adult – Goodreads – Amazon – iBooks – B&N
Overview:
Welcome to Panic, a sultry Miami nightclub where bodies and hearts move to a beat that doesn’t stop at sunrise—the setting for “a magnificent story full of deep emotion” (Sawyer Bennett).
Katherine: I thought I could enjoy a night out like a normal person. I thought I could handle the flashing lights, the pulsing music, the crowded dance floor. I couldn’t have been more wrong. After having an anxiety attack and passing out during my sister’s engagement party at Panic, I wake up in the arms of the hottest guy I’ve ever seen. Nick Moreno’s no gentleman. But he might just be the man I need to help me take control of my life.
Nick: When I hear there’s some random girl passed out in the back room of my family’s South Beach nightclub, I’m pissed. My dad’s already behind bars and we can’t afford any more bad press. But after giving her a lift—literally—back to her apartment, I stop seeing Katherine Wilson as some random girl. She’s gorgeous, vulnerable, and braver than she knows. And when we kiss, all I want to do is pull her close and promise that she’ll always be safe in my arms.

The Negotiation by Sandi Lynn – Adult – Goodreads – Amazon – iBooks – B&N
Overview:
Companionship is a good thing.
Relationships are not.
My name is Emily Wade and I was raised to believe that happily ever after didn’t exist. That relationships were doomed before they even started, and that as long as the attraction to someone is purely physical, life is uncomplicated and good. I lived by that and was probably the only anti-relationship person in the world. I found myself in the midst of so much man drama that I decided to take a hiatus from the dating world. Until I met the brutally handsome CEO of Caine Property Development & Management, Jackson Caine. He was as anti-relationship as I was and wanted to negotiate a deal that would let us have our cake and eat it too.
My mother was on her fourth husband.
My father was on his fifth wife.
My name is Jackson Caine and I grew up in a world where I was taught that nothing lasts forever. I saw and lived the destruction each relationship my parents had and it was something I never wanted. I was career driven, successful, the boss of my own life, and as anti-relationship as one could be. I’d had my fill of women and the drama that went with them. Until I met Emily Wade. A beautiful woman who understood and shared the same thoughts I did. We were the perfect companions for each other. No complications, no drama, and certainly no commitment, ever. We negotiated a deal that would suit both of us, and as long as no one broke the rules that were set in place, we both could have our cake and eat it too.
Until…

Andrea ‘Dre’ Capulet is strung out and tired.

And their deaths.
For most people, death is the end of their story.
For Preppy and Dre, it was only the beginning…
The Fall by T Gephart – Adult – Goodreads – Amazon – iBooks – B&N
Overview:
Salvation doesn’t exist.
It’s a lie people tell themselves in the dark, alone so their conscience might be eased. To give them hope that, in the end, we can all be forgiven.
Except we can’t.
And no amount of praying will change that.
For me there will be no redemption, and I will leave this world with the same black heart I entered it with.
The comfort in knowing who I am and what I am capable of keeps me warmer than any lie of having my soul saved.
Because I know the truth.
Because I know there is no Heaven.
And there is no Hell.
There is only the fall.
Michael has no one. No family. No Friends. And not a soul in the world cares about him, only a system that tried to break him.
With a strong dislike for establishments and conformity, he has lived his life as a rogue. A hired thug with no allegiances except to his own word.
Sofia has grown up in the shadow of her father—one of the most powerful drug lords in the city. She has vowed to bring him to justice, moving through the ranks of the Chicago PD in an effort to be as far removed from her father’s lifestyle as possible.
Two worlds collide when Michael shows up at her door, a gun in his hand and a look in his eyes that terrifies her. Suddenly, Sofia has a price on her head and Michael is the only one who can keep her out of the crossfire.
