NA – ★★★★☆ – Goodreads – AmazonB&NiBook

This is the third book I’ve read from Colleen Hoover and let’s just say that I really enjoyed this one!

This book in once sentence: This book is the book that will stop me from judging other books and I love that.

This is the first book by Colleen Hoover where I didn’t want to punch any of the main characters in the face. I mean that in a way that I really liked the characters and the story was good without being overbearing, the relationship was real, and everything was just…good!

Our main girl, Auburn, meets our main guy, Owen, and they get along swimmingly while having to deal with many things going on in their lives. There are many reasons as to why Auburn is where she is at the moment, but she definitely didn’t expect life to go the way it did when she met Owen. Both Auburn and Owen have to face and deal with many issues bigger than themselves and the way their stories played out was worth investing time into!

One thing I really loved about Auburn is that she wasn’t an idiot and she wasn’t a punk. She knew what she wanted and she always kept her goals in sight and was always willing to do what she needed to do. One thing I really liked about Owen is that even though I got the creep vibe from him, it was all explained and he was genuinely a good guy! There will never be enough good guys!

One thing I really like about Colleen Hoover’s books is that the writing is so smooth and easy to follow. All of her characters have humor in their voices and she writes in a way that makes you beg for more. With this book, as well as with Ugly Love and November 9, there was never a point where I was bored and thought about putting the book down! I thoroughly enjoyed this story and I honestly wish it was longer.

I did give this book 4.5 stars because while I really liked it, the only thing that stopped this book from getting a 5 star rating is that is did not change my life. Other than that feat, this book was just about perfect to me and I loved every minute of it.
